As someone who struggles with Hypothyroidism, here are a few tips I learned over the years to keep my TSH and T4 levels in control for almost 20 years.
Diet
Avoid eating goitrogens such as raw kale, cabbage, broccoli, etc
Switch to Iodized Sea Salt
Increase iodine intake through foods such as seaweed, cod, shrimp, eggs, and tuna
Increase probiotic consumption to improve digestion
Timing
It is very crucial to take your medication on an empty stomach
Wait 30-40min after taking your medication before eating
Do not take any vitamins or supplements within 4 hours before and after taking your medication
Check if any other medications you're currently taking might interact with your thyroid medication
Be consistent, if you forget to take your pill one day double your dose for the next morning
Exercise
Indulge in yoga and cardio exercises to reduce stress and increase your metabolism
If some medication can cause or worsen hypo/hyperthyroidism, check with your healthcare provider
